I began my nurse training in 1993 in Harrogate in Yorkshire. I worked in Manchester and Southport. In 1999 I joined Furness General Hospital. I worked in the Emergency Department for several years then left in 2010 to work in the Community. I then came back to Furness General Hospital in 2015. It is a really great place to work!

Ashutosh Kale - Consultant Paediatrician
What was it that made you want to go into the profession you’re in now?
My father was a doctor and my role model as a child, and that’s why I followed in his footsteps. I like to help and treat children and hence I became a paediatrician.
