We are looking for Trust Grade Radiologists to join our well established team of highly professional Radiologists, which provides a comprehensive service for the population of North Lancashire and South Cumbria. The department offers CT, US, MRI and plain film reporting and team members are expected to participate in the on call rota.
These are Fixed Term posts for 3 years and based Across Morecambe Bay
We have sound administrative support, highly integrated voice recognition within a new PACS system installed in 2017
In recent years we have installed three new MR scanners and 16 new USS machines
The University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust has a keen interest and extensive involvement in Medical and Dental Education at both Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels. We work in partnership with Lancaster Medical School, North Western Deanery and Health Education North West to provide quality education and training which meets the requirements of these regulatory bodies as well as the Trust’s high standards of patient care. UHMBFT provides one of the main NHS settings for students from Lancaster Medical School as we co-ordinate, deliver and quality assure the clinical component of Lancaster Medical Schools MBChB degree programme.
We are a training site for Specialist Trainees in Radiology as part of the North West School of Radiology and the Trust provides the majority of clinical attachments for students at Lancaster Medical School.
You must have full GMC registration with a licence to practice.
