You will work alongside the Team Leader and other Clinical Leaders providing expert advice and guidance to junior team members.  You will be supported to gain skills to actively manage the caseload of patients and undertake complex visits, providing high quality nursing care to patients on the District Nursing caseload including Continuing Healthcare management.  

The post holder’s role will be required to:

  • Support the Team Lead in providing clinical leadership and management of the clinical caseload for the team
  • Be responsible for the allocation, assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care within a supportive programme of development.

To be responsible, alongside the Maternity Training Team, for the educational and training support of the whole multi-professional team with a specific emphasis on Maternity Support Workers

· Take responsibility for the practical orientation /induction of newly appointed Maternity Support Workers. Support colleagues to maintain essential skills following appropriate training
