The role will be based across South Cumbria, being primarily based in either our Barrow or Kendal base, working with a growing team of Nursing, Physio, OT and support staff across the area. You will primarily support the development of the home oxygen and complex domiciliary Respiratory patient services, as well as working closely with Pulmonary Rehabilitation service.

The post will be predominately clinically focused, including (but not limited to) delivery of direct clinical care, clinical leadership, clinical supervision of peers and as part of MDTs, patient and staff teaching/education, quality service improvement redesign projects, clinical governance and audit.

The Team is  conveniently based at the end of the Bay Gateway in Heysham with easy access from the M6 and local transport networks, making this a desirable area to access for work.

The role requires excellent communication skills as you will be undertaking complex nursing assessments and developing and delivering programmes of care for patients and carers.
