Enjoy the many pleasures of the seaside at Morecambe, whether it’s flying kites, building sandcastles or enjoying the view across the bay. Cycle, or stroll along the award-winning promenade with an ice cream, before grabbing a picnic and heading down to the beach.
And there’s loads to keep you busy, such as Morecambe’s Super Bowl, and Regent Park Studios. Plus there’s plenty of pubs and restaurants, including a karaoke bar. If cycling’s your thing, Bay Cycle Way is definitely worth the effort.
Children & Families

Morecambe railway station has a regular rail service from Lancaster, with some trains running direct from Preston and Leeds. Trains also run to Heysham, where they connect with the ferry service to the Isle of Man. There are plenty of places to explore!
